Baltimore Orioles World Series ring, 1983
A gold Baltimore Orioles 1983 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn with a rounded square face that features "Orioles" written in gold and surrounded by 18 diamonds. "1983 World Champions" wraps around the stones. One arm has "World Series 1983" above the Orioles' logo. The other arm has "Kuhn" above the World Series trophy.
The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Philadelphia Phillies four games to one to win the 1983 World Series. Bowie Kuhn served as Major League Baseball's fifth commissioner from 1969 to 1984, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
