Cincinnati Reds World Series ring, 1940
A gold ring awarded to the 1940 World Series champions, the Cincinnati Reds, featuring a circular-shaped diamond set in a silver diamond and surrounded by a red stone. Wrapped around the red stone is "World Champions Cincinnati Reds" on a background of blue enamel. "1940", the Reds logo, and a baseball sitting on top of a pair of crossed bats are on each side of the ring.
The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Detroit Tigers four games to three to win the 1940 World Series.
