Leather glove with replacement black leather webbing between thumb and first finger. Palm has stamps "Ron Santo Autographed Model", "2045", "Snap Action" and "Wilson". There is a "Wilson" tag which is very faded on the back of the hand strap with "Nylon Stitched" to the right., Ron Santo model glove used by the donor when he was stationed in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Donor used the glove in Vietnam when he had spare time. He and his sergeant would play catch and donor would store the glove in his sea bag when he wasn't using it. Donor also used the glove during summer softball leagues in California.

The team is based in Koshien, Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, and are owned by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. The Hanshin Tigers are one of the oldest professional clubs in Japan. They played their first season in 1936 as the Osaka Tigers and assumed their current team name in 1961.
