Bio/Historical NoteIn 1932, Babe Ruth became the first player to take part in ten World Series. Prior to Game 2 of the 1932 Fall Classic, the Yankees give Babe this silver cigar box to commemorate the achievement. George Herman "Babe" Ruth played for the Boston Red Sox (1914-1919), New York Yankees (1920-1934), and Boston Braves (1935). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936 as one of the "First Five" members.
