John Candelaria No-Hitter cap

DescriptionBlack and yellow cap, size 7 1/4, with a team logo embroidered on the front in black. Crown of the cap is yellow while the bill and button at the top crown are black. Cap has black horizontal stripes on the crown. Underside of the bill is green with "45" handwritten in black ink ten times. Interior white cotton sweatband has two manufacturer labels, including "New Era" and a sizing tag. Interior of the cap has "7 1/4" handwritten in black ink three times.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by John Candelaria of the Pittsburgh Pirates as he threw a no-hitter on August 9, 1976 against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Three Rivers Stadium.
