DescriptionRoyal blue and red cap, size 7 1/8, with a team logo embroidered in red and white on the front and an MLB logo at the rear center. Button at the top crown and the bill of the cap are red while the crown is royal blue. "31" is handwritten in black ink on the interior proper right front panel. Underside of the bill is gray with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Interior white cotton sweatband has three manufacturer labels, including "Authentic Collection," "New Era" and a sizing tag.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Greg Maddux of the Chicago Cubs on April 29, 2005 as he started against Roger Clemens of the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Maddux was the winning pitcher. This pitching matchup marked only the fifth meeting of 300 game winners since 1900.
