Gus Suhr matchbook

DescriptionRed matchbook featuring a black-and-white image on one side of a baseball player in partial profile from the shoulders upwards. There is a silver border around the image. This side of the matchbook tucks into the lower portion where the ignition strip is located. Reverse side of the matchbook has a paragraph in black lettering about the player on a yellow background, edged in black with two crossed bats, a baseball, and a baseball glove at the top. Across the top wider edge of the matchbook is "Gus Suhr / Pittsburgh 'Pirates'" in black lettering. Across the lower narrower edge of the matchbook is "The Diamond Match Co. / New York" in black lettering. Inside the matchbook are 20 matches.
