Trevor Hoffman Branch Rickey award

DescriptionBronze statue of "The Player" by George Lundeen, which depicts Branch Rickey in a baseball uniform holding a ball in his left hand, a glove under his left arm, and a bat in his right hand which is leaning back against his shoulder. The statue is mounted on a wooden base with a metal plaque nailed to the front and is signed on the bronze base of the statue by the artist, George Lundeen. The plaque reads "The Branch Rickey Award / Presented to / TREVOR HOFFMAN / November, 2008 / Major League Baseball's Outstanding Individual Who Personifies / Rotary International's Motto 'Service Above Self' / Created by The Rotary Club of Denver," along with the logo of Rotary International. Plaque is attached to the wooden base with four nails. Bottom of the base has two screws on the left and right and a brown felt pad in each corner.
