DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth and his wife Claire. The caption (not shown) reads "Babe Ruth and his wife pose for photographers with the new Lincoln continental automobile, which was presented to him today, by the Ford Motor Company. The auto was, presented to him outside his New York City home today, in appreciation for his services as consultant to the Ford Motor Company in their sponsorship of American League Junior Baseball. The Babe then rode to the Yankee stadium, where thousands of fans turned out to pay him tribute, on the scene of his former triumphs. Today, was 'Babe Ruth' day in all ballparks from New York to Podunk."
