A black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller standing with an airplane. Feller, wearing a suit, stands between the plane's right wing and its propeller. His right hand rests on the propeller while his left is on the nose of the plane. A caption on the back of the photo (not shown) reads, "'Rapid Robert' Will be More Rapid - Wichita, Kans.--Bob Feller, Ace Cleveland Indians pitcher, stands beside the small plane which he flew over Wichita, after placing an order for a similar one. A flier before the war, Feller plans to continue his private flying. He is slated to report Feb. 23rd to Tucson, Ariz., where the Indians' hurling staff will limber up for the 1947 season. Feller's home is in Waukegan, Ill. 1-11-47."
