A black-and-white photograph of the New York Yankees being drilled by Sargent Gibson at the Polo Grounds. 19 unidentified New York Yankee players are standing at attention in military formation rows in home uniforms. Each player is holding a rifle in their left hand and resting on their left shoulder. In the background is the Polo Grounds bleachers and a large American flag in center field. On top of the picture has been written "Yankees drilled by Serg. Giblson" and "4231-7" This copy of the photograph comes from the Library of Congress.
