Each player is holding a rifle in their left hand and resting on their left shoulder. In the background is the Polo Grounds bleachers and a large American flag in center field. On top of the picture has been written "Yankees drilled by Serg. Giblson" and "4231-7" This copy of the photograph comes from the Library of Congress.
