DescriptionA Philadelphia Phillies World Series program, game 1, dated October 8, 1915, against the Boston Red Sox. The scorecard is scored and has the rosters typed in. There are multiple advertisements surrounding the scorecard. The front cover has a pink border with pink ribbons on baseball bats which surround an oval with a head-and-shoulder shot of manager, P. J. Morgan. Starting at the top it reads, "World's Series of the Philadelphia Base Ball Club, National League." The bottom, in pink, reads, "This scorecard is sold at the park only" and a price of 10 cents. The back cover has an advertisement for Ridge Avenue Bank and Van Hook's Restaurant. Accompanying the program, is a card with the team photo taken by Gilbert and Bacon of Philadelphia. Below the photo are the player names and "Philadelphia National League Club Champions 1915."
