DescriptionMiniature natural stain wooden bat with a miniature black felt pennant attached to the taper. "Souvenir / World Series / 1935" is stamped in silver lettering on the center of the barrel of the bat. Below this is "Chas. Gehringer" signed in green ink. The miniature pennant has "Detroit" in yellow lettering with a depiction of a tiger's head to the left. There is a vertical yellow felt stripe running along the left edge of the pennant. There are four ties at the left side, two at the top and two at the bottom, which are tied and knotted around the taper of the miniature bat. Back side of the pennant is blank.

Bio/Historical NoteSouvenir miniature bat commemorating the 1935 World Series, featuring the signature of Charlie Gehringer and an attached miniature Detroit Tigers pennant. The 1935 World Series featured the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago Cubs, with the Tigers winning in six games for their first championship in five Series appearances.
