DescriptionA black-and-white digital image of Lon Warneke captured as he warms up before pitching on the sideline of the baseball field. Warneke is looking out of the corners of his eyes and has a serious expression on his face. His right arm is crossing in front of his body while his back foot twists in the ground as Warneke completes his pitching form. Warneke is dressed in the Chicago Cubs road uniform. Two unidentified gentlemen are visible standing in the unidentified stadium seating in the background. Based on Warneke's uniform and his time with the Chicago Cubs this digital image was taken between 1933 and 1936.
