Wrightstone is looking in the direction of the ball he just threw as his right arm comes down in front of him and his right leg still hangs in the air behind him. Wrightstone is dressed in the Philadelphia Phillies road uniform. An unidentified Philadelphia Phillies player is standing off to the side of Wrightstone. Two other unidentified baseball players are visible on the baseball field in the background. Baseball spectators are visible in the stadium seating at Forbes Field. Based on Wrightstone's uniform and his time with the Philadelphia Phillies this digital image was taken in approximately 1924.
