Yerkes has a serious expression on his face as he looks in the direction of the baseball and his left arm is extended out in front of him. Yerkes is dressed in the Philadelphia Athletics road uniform. Numerous baseball spectators are visible in the unidentified stadium seating in the background. Based on Yerkes' uniform and his time with the Philadelphia Athletics this digital image was taken in approximately 1928.
