Glenn Abbott scouting report

DescriptionA professional scouting report on pitcher Glenn Abbott of the Oakland Athletics produced by Eddie Bockman for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1976. The first page of the report provides Bockman's notes on Abbott's delivery, pitches used, movement to first base, pickoff plays, fielding, bunting and hitting abilities, and his usage by his manager. The second and third pages are summary sheets of games Abbott pitched in that Bockman watched. The sheets note how many batters Abbott saw, as well as the types of pitches and the number of times they were thrown, whether it was a ball or strike, and when it was used for an out, a base hit, a strikeout, a last pitch and with a 2-0 count. The sheets also include comments written by Bockman.
