DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Hughie Jennings standing on one leg and shouting his famous line of "Ee-yah!" at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C. The photograph was taken during the 1924 World Series Game 1 between the New York Giants and the Washington Senators on October 4th, 1924. Jennings is wearing a New York Giants 1924 uniform. The caption on the back reads, "WATCH YOUR CREDIT . . . . . . . . . . N 70320- "P & A PHOTOS" (PHOTO SHOWS HUGHIE JENNINGS, GIANTS COACH, AT WASH. OCT. 4TH). THE SAME OLD HUGHIE. SHOWING HIS OLD FORM AND PEP, HUGH JENNINGS, GIANTS COACH, WILL REPEAT HIS OLD-TIME TACTICS ON THE COACHING LINE. THIS PHOTO SHOWS HIM AS HE GENERALLY APPEARS OFF FIRST OR THIRD BASE SHOUTING ENCOURAGEMENT TO [word is obscured] PLAYERS."
