DescriptionThis volume mostly focuses on a series of games between the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Browns that was critical in determining the pennant winner for the 1922 season. In one of the games an outfielder was struck in the head with a soda bottle thrown by a fan. Also included in this volume are articles on several games between Detroit and Cleveland and the Yankees.
