DescriptionThis volume begins with the early months of 1926. Ruth is shown training for the upcoming season. A list of his New Year's resolutions is found in one of the articles. Comparisons to previous years are given, particularly in regards to his home run pace, that he is in better shape now than ever before, how he has "turned a new leaf." Cartoons editorialize on this point repeatedly. Magazine photos include Ruth working out, hunting, fishing, in a steam box, sliding into a base, in a Police Reserve uniform. Salary negotiations are another topic explored in the volume.
