Babe Ruth scrapbook volume 07 part 01
Datebetween 1926 and 1931
DescriptionThis volume primarily includes photographs and newspaper clippings from a trip Ruth took out west, primarily articles are from Spokane, Vancouver and Seattle. Although the trip seemed primarily to be for Ruth's vaudeville show, he visited many children's homes and children's hospitals. Photographs show Ruth with orphans, at tuberculosis hospitals and some photos show him at an Elk's band performance. The subject of his contract is revisited here again (there are numerous articles and editorial cartoons).
