DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 33 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / Hillerich & Bradsby / 125" in the center of the barrel and "Trade Mark / George "Babe" Ruth (facsimile signature) / Reg. UX Pat. Off." near the end of the barrel. Barrel has been signed "To President Warren G. Harding / April 1923" and "To Gov. Alfred E. Smith / June 24, 1924."

Bio/Historical NoteIn April 1923, Yankees slugger Babe Ruth signed this bat, intending to give it to then-President Warren Harding. However, the President passed away a few months later, before Ruth could present him with the souvenir.
