DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 42 ounces, with "J.F. Hillerich & Son Co. / Louisville Slugger" in the center of the barrel and "Hooper" near the end of the barrel. "1916" is handwritten on the barrel between the two inscriptions and there is more handwritten lettering to the right of "Hooper," but only "World Series" is still legible.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Red Sox right fielder Harry Hooper to post a .333 batting average in Boston's 1916 World Series victory over Brooklyn.
