The players, along with the manager, chaperone, and batgirl, are arranged in three rows - one sitting cross-legged (batgirl Judy Vliem), one kneeling (Jenny Romatowski, June Peppas, Elaine Roth, Nancy Mudge Cato, Fern Shollenberger, and Jean Lovell Dowler), and one standing (chaperone Barbara "Bobbie" Liebrich, Nancy J. Warren, Carol Habben, Mary Taylor, Dorothy "Dottie" Schroeder, Catherine "Kay" Blumetta, Gloria Cordes Elliott, Chris Ballingall, Jean Malanowski Marlowe, Jane "Jeep" Stoll, manager Mitch Skupien). The names of the players in the back row are written vertically above their heads while the names of the players in the other two rows are written across their bodies. A home plate is on the grass in front of them.
