DescriptionLeather right-handed first baseman's mitt with "Wilson / Brand of the Pros" along the back of the thumb stall and "Croteau" handwritten in black marker above the circular "W" fabric logo which has been colored in with black marker. There are leather straps and lacing between the thumb stall and main finger stall. Palm area has "Wilson" in black lettering along with other illegible lettering throughout.
Bio/Historical NoteMitt used by Julie Croteau while with St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1989, when she became the first woman to regularly start on a men's collegiate baseball team. She later played for the Colorado Silver Bullets and coached Division I baseball at University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
