DescriptionA two-page typed contract between Bert Campaneris and the New York Yankees, signed May 4, 1983. The first page reads "Uniform Player's Contract, the American League of Professional Baseball Clubs." The top right, has the word "COPY" stamped in red. The contract states this is between the New York Yankees and Dagoberto Campaneris for the 1983 season. The player will receive $35,000.00. On page two, under Special Covenants, it states the player is to receive $40,000.00 for each day on the 25-man major league active roster. There are three other conditions and this is signed by the player and team representative. The bottom of the page is dated and signed by the player, with his address, league president, Lee MacPhail, and the team representative. This is Campaneris' last career contract.
