DescriptionA two-page typed contract between Johnny Lee "Blue Moon" Odom and the Oakland Athletics, February 3, 1972. The top of page one reads "Uniform Player's Contract, American League of Professional Baseball Clubs." The top right has the word "COPY" stamped in red. The contract states it is an agreement between the Oakland Athletics and Johnny Lee Odom for the 1972 season. The player is to be paid $30,000.00 in semi-monthly installments. Page two is signed by the player, with his address, league president Joes Cronin, and the team president Charles O. Finley.
