Detroit Tigers World Series ring

DescriptionGold ring awarded to the 1945 World Series champions, the Detroit Tigers, that features a circular-shaped diamond set into a silver diamond. Wrapped around the diamond is a laurel wreath and "Detroit 1 Tigers 9 World 5 Champions 4." Each side has textured gold. One side features a globe wearing a crown and the other features a ball sitting on top of a pair of crossed bats and "ABC."

Bio/Historical NoteThe Detroit Tigers defeated the Chicago Cubs four games to three to win the 1945 World Series.
