DescriptionCream-colored beaver fur cowboy hat with matching hatband. Interior has a red satin lining with a brown leather sweatband. There are gold manufacturer markings on the top crown lining and on all sides of the sweatband including "Resistol / Self-Confirming," "Designed by Harry Rotnick for Dizzy Dean," and "xxxxx Beaver / Made in Texas."

Bio/Historical NoteThis hat belonged to pitcher-turned-broadcaster Dizzy Dean, national television host of baseball's "Game of the Week" from 1953 to 1964. Dean's down-home delivery made him a fan favorite across the country.
