DescriptionA color photograph of Ernie Banks in a Chicago Cubs away uniform, taken between 1962 and 1971. Banks is posed in a batting stance with the front of his uniform facing the camera and his head turned to the left (towards the right side of the photograph) as if he were looking at the pitcher. Banks is standing on an unidentified grassy area, perhaps either in foul ground along the third base line or far behind home plate. Visible behind Banks is the infield grandstands at an unidentified stadium; these seats seems to be on the third base side. The date of the photo was determined by examining the record of Banks' career and the details of the uniform present in the photograph.
