DescriptionA color slide of Jim Thome and Álvaro Espinoza of the Cleveland Indians captured at home plate during a game three of the World Series against the Atlanta Braves on October 24, 1995. Espinoza is sliding to home plate and is holding up his right arm and has his left arm extended out. Thome is standing outside of the batter's box. Thome and Espinoza are dressed in Cleveland Indians home uniforms. A protective face mask is visible on the right side of the slide along with a discarded baseball bat. Game three was played at Jacobs Field. The date of this slide was determined by information on the slide's casing (not shown).
