DescriptionA black-and-white full-length photograph of Roger Clemens pitching. Clemens, captured mid-pitch, is shown wearing a Boston Red Sox road uniform. On the mound, Clemens lunges forward with his bent left leg, while dragging his back, right leg. Looking forward, in the direction he is about to hurl the ball, Clemens raises his left arm shoulder height in front of his body. Wearing a glove on his left hand, Clemens grips the ball with his right. Raising his right arm shoulder height, bent at the elbow, Clemens holds the ball behind his back, right shoulder. Shown in-game, an occupied stadium is visible in the background. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Clemens this image dates from 1984, his first year with Boston, to 1996, his final year with the team.
