DescriptionWhite leather baseball with red stitching and gold stamps, including "Official Ball / 2006 / World Baseball Classic," "Rawlings" and a World Baseball Classic logo. The "Rawlings" stamp has been partially covered by an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. The sweet spot has been signed in black ink by the starting pitchers (in the respective language characters).
Bio/Historical NoteThe inaugural World Baseball Classic officially began when Chinese Taipei pitcher Lin En-Yu tossed this first-pitch ball in the opening game against South Korea on March 3, 2006.
