DescriptionSmall square glass mason jar with a metal clamp lid. Jar is filled with brown granular dirt. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker located at the neck of the jar. Handwritten in black marker on the side of the jar is "2008 / World Series Game 2 / Phillies @ Rays."

Bio/Historical NoteJar of infield dirt taken from Tropicana Field during Game 2 of the 2008 World Series on October 23, 2008. This was Tampa Bay's first World Series appearance. The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 2 but the Phillies went on to win their second championship, taking the series four games to one.
