DescriptionWooden bat, 32 ounces, with natural stain handle and black painted barrel. There is a gold "Max Bat" decal at the center of the barrel and "Model 238JK / Jason Kubel / Pro Maple 34" in gold lettering near the end of the barrel. Barrel end tip is cupped. Knob end has a manufacturer sticker. There is white tape wrapped around the barrel to the right of the "Max Bat" decal. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker located on the underside of the barrel.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by designated hitter Jason Kubel of the Minnesota Twins to blast a seventh-inning home run on April 12, 2010 for Target Field's first-ever circuit clout. Kubel stuck with the hot bat for three more games, donating it to the Hall of Fame only after it broke in two on a foul ball swing.
