DescriptionA color full length transparency of Barry Bonds running to first base from the batter's box at Pacific Bell Park on October 7, 2001. Bonds is wearing a San Francisco home uniform with his body facing the camera. As Bonds takes a wide turn from the batter's box to first base he is sticking out his tongue and looking at where the baseball landed that he just hit for a home run. A blurry Robby Thompson can be seen in the foreground clapping his hands. In the background is the grandstand full of fans. The photograph was taken from the first base side of the field.
