DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 31 ounces, with a silver manufacturer logo in the center of the barrel and "Mizuno Pro / Ichiro" in silver lettering near the end of the barrel. Knob end has a number inscribed, but it is covered with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Ichiro Suzuki of the New York Yankees on August 21, 2013 for his 4,000th professional career hit, becoming the first player to combine for that many hits in the top leagues of Japan and the United States. Ichiro's first-inning single also marked his 2,722nd safety in the majors, breaking a tie with Lou Gehrig on the all-time hits list.
