Bio/Historical NoteBall from July 20, 2021 game between the Orioles and Rays in Tampa Bay that was signed by the five women who served as MLB’s first ever all-female broadcast crew during that game, which was aired by Major League Baseball as its YouTube Game of the Week. It was the first time a major league game featured an all-women broadcast crew: Melanie Newman, the Orioles' radio play-by-play announcer, called the action; analyst and MLB.com writer, Sarah Langs, served as in-booth analyst; Alanna Rizzo was the on-field reporter; and Heidi Watney and Lauren Gardner anchored the game’s pregame and postgame shows.
