DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Cal Abrams dressed in a Baltimore Orioles home uniform. He has a Gothic English "B" hat kneeling on his left knee and he is holding a Louisville Slugger bat in his hands. Abrams is facing towards the photographer (not shown), his left arm is resting on his bent knee and the bat barrel is held right above his shoulder. Behind Abrams, is a music conductor with his back turned and someone sitting down playing the tuba with a music stand in front of them. In the background is a stadium with a few people sitting in the stands and two advertisements on the upper deck banister with most text indistinguishable but the larger lettering reads "WTTG 5" & "WWDC DIAL 1260". Based on Cal Abrams' time with the Baltimore Orioles and the uniform style (the Gothic English "B" was not the main home uniform hat but was used in 1955, the hat during this time was "The Lead-Off Bird"), this image was taken in either 1954 or 1955.
