Cobb has his right arm around Musial and is looking towards him while Musial sits with his hands clasped together, looking towards the camera. A small, unidentified boy can be partially seen sitting next to Cobb. The image caption above (not shown) reads, "Cooperstown, NY. Stan Musial of the St. Louis Cards gets advice from Hall-of-Famer Ty Cobb before the start of the exhibition game with the Chicago White Sox at Cooperstown today." An additional caption on the reverse (also not shown) reads, "A Peach of a Joke: Stan Musial (left) chuckles as Ty Cobb relates a funny story about the good old days in baseball. The two greats met yesterday at the Hall of Fame festivities. Musial's smile changed while the Cards took a 13-4 drubbing by the Chisox in exhibition game."
