DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Walter Johnson with a cast on his foot being greeted by his wife Hazel and his daughter Carol at the train station. Caption on back (not shown) reads: "Walter Johnson, star pitcher of the Washington Senators, who broke a small bone in his ankle during spring training practice, has returned to Washington; where he will remain until the limb mends. The injury occurred when a hot liner from Joe Judge's bat caught the veteran hurler in the ankle. He will be out of game about three weeks. Johnson is shown at Washington, D.C., station where was met by daughter, Carol, 4, and Mrs. Johnson, both of whom are shown. 3-14-27"
