DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Helen Ruth. The caption (not shown) reads "Mrs. George H. Ruth, wife of 'Babe' Ruth, king of the swat, who was burned to death in the residence of Dr. Edward H. Kinder at Watertown, Mass., where it is alleged Mrs. Ruth had been living with Dr. Kinder for several years having been separated from the Babe for sometime. Mrs. Ruth was in the house by herself when fire broke out and when rescued lived but a short time. It is alleged that Dr. Kinder has disappeared."
