DescriptionA Philadelphia Athletics official scorecard for 1951. The scorecard found inside is for a game played between the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Athletics on July 5, 1951. The scorecard has been scored using pencil. The front of the scorecard features advertisements for Roxy Electrical Center, Phil-Mont Motors, McCurry Motors, Inc. and Smylie's Restaurant. An image of a batter waiting for the umpire to brush off the plate is also featured on the front cover. The front cover text is printed using black, red and white ink. The back cover features advertisements ofr Oscar Mayer and Seagrams. The back cover text is printed using red, black, and gray ink.
