Biography"The Eastern Canada League was a class B minor league founded in 1922. The four-team league ran for two years and then folded. On July 29, 1922 Valleyfield moved to Cap-de-la-Madeleine. In midseason 1923, Trois-Rivières moved to Montreal. The Ottawa club played its home games in Montreal until its own ballpark was built in midseason 1923. In 1924, the league added two Vermont-based teams, becoming the Quebec-Ontario-Vermont League." -- BR Bullpen page
