Biography"The New York Black Yankees were a professional Negro league baseball team based in New York City; Paterson, New Jersey; and Rochester, New York, that played in the Negro National League from 1936 to 1948.[1] The Black Yankees played in Paterson, New Jersey, from 1933 to 1937 and then from 1939 to 1945.
