"The Pawtucket Red Sox (known colloquially as the PawSox) were a professional minor league baseball team based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The team was a member of the International League and was the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox from 1973 to 2020. They played their home games at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, as the only professional baseball team in Rhode Island. Its most recent championship win was in 2014.
