BiographyThe Waterbury, CT minor league franchise was established in 1966 as members of the Eastern League. Each team changed their name to reflect that of the parent team. The Waterbury Angels were affiliated with the California Angels 1984; Waterbury Reds, Cincinnati Reds 1980-1983; Waterbury A's, Oakland A's 1979; Waterbury Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers 1973-1976; Waterbury Giants, San Francisco Giants 1966-1967, 1977-1978.
