BiographyA retired high school social studies teacher, Anthony F. Gero, is the author of over a hundred articles on military history articles. He has also published several books, including "Black Soldiers of New York State: A Proud Legacy." He is also a Company of Military Historians fellow. Over the course of his research, Gero collected photographs and created research files on military baseball history.
