Lavagetto, Cookie, 1912-1990

Cookie Lavagetto played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1934-1936) and the Brooklyn Dodgers (1937-1941, 1946-1947). After his playing career, Lavagetto coached for the Dodgers, Washington of the American League, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, managed the Washington Senators (1957-1960), and managed the Minnesota Twins (1961).
